The American Red Cross promotes “tornado awareness month” each year and we concocted a print ad that visually presented a tornado ripping through the newspaper. Using the theme “A tornado can strike anytime and anywhere”, we designed a promotional ad concept to appear like an editorial story but with words and letters exploding across the page. Lines of text and headlines were all jostled by the tornado ripping through the newspaper.
